1. August/Augustus1 ISRAELSKI/ISRAELSKY was born in May 1841 in Prussia. He married Rosa/Rosalia/Rosalie/Rose SCHWARTZ in 1875, possibly in Texas. Rosa was born in July 1852 in either France, Germany or Poland. August died between 1900-1910.

According to census records and city directories, August was a clerk (1860), dry goods merchant (1880) and cotton buyer (1889/1890, 1891/1892, 1893/1894, 1900). He immigrated to the United States in 1858. He was naturalized about 1887 in Dallas County, Texas. Rosa immigrated in either 1870 (1930), 1871 (1920), or 1872 (1900/1910).

Children of August/Augustus ISRAELSKI/ISRAELSKY and Rosa/Rosalia/Rosalie/Rose SCHWARTZ were as follows:

    1. Isaac/Ike2 ISRAEL/ISRAELSKY, born in January 1876 in Texas.
    1. Sarah/Sadie ISRAELSKY, born in November 1879 in Texas.

2. Isaac/Ike2 (August/Augustus1) ISRAEL/ISRAELSKY was born 25 January 1876 in Texas. He married Elsie [--?--] between 1912-1914. Elsie was born between February 1888-January 1889 in Arkansas. Isaac apparently changed his name to ISRAEL between 1920 and 1930.

According to census records and city directories, Isaac was a cash boy (1889/1890), clerk (1891/1892, 1893/1894), salesman (1900) and retail merchant (1910/1918) for Isidore Goldsmith & Company; a proprietor of ladies clothing (1920), and an insurance agent (1930).

Children of Isaac/Ike ISRAEL/ISRAELSKY and Elsie [--?--] were as follows:

    1. Elsie R.3 ISRAEL, born between May 1922-April 1923 in Texas.
    2. Josephine ISRAEL, born in July 1925 in Texas.
